This button may be a celebration of men's basketball coach Lou Henson's tenure at University of Illinois. Henson coached the Fighting Illini from 1976 to 1996 earning several NCAA Tournament bids and winning one Big Ten Championship. K104 FM was a radio station on frequency 103.9 in the Champaign-Urbana area, which has since changed to 107.9. The first Jerry’s IGA grocery store was opened in the Champaign-Urbana area in 1983. The orange and blue color lettering is consistent with the school colors of the University of Illinois.
