Additional Information

The Union Athletic Association of Lansdowne is a community organization in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Each year, the group plans and fundraises for the local annual Fourth of July Celebration that began in 1904. The celebration features a parade through the town that ends at the high school football field. The football field hosts family activities, games, and speeches from local community members. They also provide free water ice for kids. The celebration includes live music and dancing until the grand finale, a fireworks display. The event is entirely funded by donations and run by volunteers. The UAA has continued to provide Fourth of July entertainment for over one hundred years.
