Faber & Faber is a UK based independent publishing house. The company was founded in 1929 and claimed T.S. Eliot as its first Poetry Editor. Over the years, Faber & Faber published names such as Sylvia Plath, William Golding, Kazuo Ishiguro and many more. In 2015, the company moved directly into the U.S. market to sell physical books and ebooks directly to consumers. Until this time, the company had published its books under partner company Farrar, Straus and Giroux.
