Additional Information:

A melting pot is a multiethnic society where many ethnic groups are essentially equal. Since the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russia became a mono-ethnic country. The Soviet Union was a community of different ethnic groups. But over thousands of years, Russia has developed independently and brought together many ethnic groups needing equal rights. These ethnic groups include Christians, Muslims, and indigenous people. Many called Russia their home, as Russia culturally assimilated many groups.
