| Additional Information | Owen is a solo project by Mike Kinsella, born in 1977, as a getaway from playing in multiple bands in the Chicago Indie scene. Owen debuted in 2001 with a self-titled album. Owen shows Kinsella's full creative reign over the music process from songwriting to recording. Owen combines acoustic sounds or heavy string based arrangements and soft melodies with personal lyrics within the indie rock genre. Currently, Owen has at least 10 albums with The Avalanche (2020) as the latest release through Polyvinyl Records. |
