Marshall High School played Redwood Falls in a homecoming football game on October 17, 1958 in western Minnesota. Homecoming is a tradition where high schools will welcome back former staff, teachers, and students for a celebration. These events often host various activities such as parades, pep rallies, dances, and more. Another staple is the homecoming football game. In this case, the Marshall Tigers, whose colors are black and orange the same as the button, hosted the Redwood Falls Cardinals. Redwood Falls would win the game 42-0.
