Additional Information

The KYB club began broadcasting over the airwaves in 1926 on Chicago radio station WMBI. The station, owned by The Moody Bible Institute, was intended to spread the word and teachings of the Christian faith. The KYB club, which stood for Know Your Bible, was a weekly radio show for children every Sunday at 2:00 hosted by “Aunt Theresa” Worman. For 36 years, Aunt Theresa and her young guests told stories, sang songs, and preached mini sermons. By 1940, the club boasted over 17,500 members.
