As part of a set of 40, this button features a Bobwhite Quail also known as a Northern Bobwhite. Northern Bobwhites are found throughout the central and eastern United States, Mexico, parts of Central America and Cuba. They live in groups of 5 to 30 birds and are primarily seed eaters. The Northern Bobwhite is a popular game bird and is welcomed by farmers as it eats weeds and harmful insects. They are well camouflaged due to the various species that prey on them such as foxes, coyotes, raccoons, hawks, owls and snakes.
