Ottawa-Carleton is a school district in Ontario, Canada, that is responsible for Canada’s capital, Ottawa. The buildings represented in this illustration are the Ottawa City Hall, which connects the Heritage Building and the larger addition that was built behind in 1990. The Heritage building was built in 1874 as the Ottawa Normal School, which was a teacher’s college that eventually became city property.
